If you are looking to implement IMS Managed ACBs (and you should be), then come to this session to learn about the best practices for IMS Managed ACBs.  We will go over some of the dos and don’t when implementing IMS Managed ACBs.  We will also talk about what you must do right away and what can be tackled later in your implementation.  Finally, we will talk about the fallback process.

Session Evaluation

Most IMS customers have not had to perform a recovery of an IMS database in a long time. What if the unthinkable happened and you had to recover an IMS database or databases? Would you be able to do this quickly and correctly? What would be the impact to the business while the application was unavailable? This session will cover key concepts in developing a good recovery plan, processes to proactively monitor for situations which could affect your recovery plan, how to test and practice recovery on a regular basis, and how to simplify recovery.
